Dominique is a founding partner of AlphaCode, a venture capital fund that invests in innovative and scalable early-stage fintech startups in Africa. Dominique has decades of experience in the fintech sector and a deep understanding of the opportunities and challenges that technology can bring to the financial services industry and the African continent. Prior to Alpha Code, Dominique spent 9 years as a senior investment executive at Rand Merchant Holdings, the holding company of several large financial services businesses such as OUTsurance, Discovery, FirstRand and Momentum Metropolitan. She also has a strong entrepreneurial background and was a founding member of TYME, a South African based technology company that designs, builds and operates digital banking ecosystems.
